In this auction you will be bidding on a World War-1 Belgium M1916 bayonet in mint condition. the blade of the bayonet retains 100% of its original black parkerized finish. The blade has not been sharpened post factory. The wooden scales show no signs of cracking splitting or rot. They are secured firmly by two screws. There is absolutely no wiggle in this bayonet. Locking hardware works perfectly. The scabbard retains 99% of its original shiny black finish. There are two dents one front and one back on the scabbard. The scabbard holds the bayonet firmly in place. Both bayonet and scabbard have matching numbers.
