Harold Freeman was a clarinetist in Toscanini's NBC Symphony and owned a music store in New York. He was a major Buffet dealer and this clarinet might be an Evette stencil. However, p

I do not play clarinet and cannot comment on its condition and playability. However, I have briefly shown this clarinet to someone who used to play clarinet professionally. He has told me that it would need new pads and some springs adjusted or replaced. He has pointed out that the ligature is missing but can be very easily replaced. He did not notice any other issues, and told me that it is a good quality instrument that should play well once serviced.
