Vintage German Military US M1872 Calvary? Sword & Scabbard Eagle,Stars & Animal

Great Find.Here we have a antique or vintage military sword and scabbard.I was told it is a US M1872 Calvary sword.I do not personally know.As seen has wear and tear and handle is broke in a spot and maty be missing a small piece.Has eagle and stars as seen.Blade says Made In Germany and has a animal symbol.Could not find anything about it.Measures 36 1/2" long and blade is aboput 31" long.Pictures show best description.Will pack well and insure.Email any questions sold as-is as seena nd stated no returns for any reason
