Very rare German M1902 walking out dress sawback bayonet

Description

Very rare German M1902 walking out dress sawback bayonet. 17-1/2" blade, 22-3/4" overall. Not sharpened, edge may have been lightly filed on the edge only near the hilt. Blade has an overall sale-and-pepper patina, having been lightly cleaned, showing scattered light pitting. On hilt, some plating is flaked with light pitting. Wood grips are very good, showing light wear and use, free of cracks and chips, with some minor light handling marks. The issue version of this bayonet is very scarce, with this dress version being much more so.
