Original WW1 Imperial German Officers Sword, Dove Head With Scabbard..Manufactured by the well known firm Alexander Coppel Solingen (AC, ACS, ALCOSO and Alex Coppel), the trade mark on the blade of this sword comprises a set of scales and the intials "ACS".
SHOWS HEAVY USE ON SCABBARD ,WITH SCUFFS, SCRATCHES AND SURFACE RUST. HILT, LANGET, AND POMMEL AREA SHOWS COAT OF CORRSION FROM USE, AND BLADE HAS A  AMOUNT OF CORROSION AS WELL NEARER TO THE HILT AREA, WITH SCUFFS AND WEAR FROM USE= BEING DRAWN & INSERTED IN SCABBARD. GOOD CONDITION CONSIDERING AGE. SEE ALL 12 PHOTOS.
Features:
1. Hilt - cast in steel and nickel plated. The backstrap is attached directly to the tang. The grip is of wood with plastic cover and a brass wire wrap.

5. Blade - Plain plated steel with single fullers.
6. Scabbard - Standard nickel black steel scabbard with a single fixed ring suspension fitting and loop to the reverse side of the scabbard.
