Mauser Model 1895 Bayonet Weyersburg manufactured for Chile w/Scabbard
Mauser Model 1895 Bayonet Weyersburg manufactured for Chile w/Scabbard. Marked with Chile crest & 1 other mark on one side blade & 'Weyersburg Kirschbaum & Co. Solingen' on other side. Blade has original shiny finish with original edge and point, unsharpened. Push button works fine. 2 piece wood grips secured by 2 steel rivets show 125 years of handling marks & assorted small gouges but no cracks. Scabbard retains about 90% original blued finish. One dent in middle of scabbard one side. A yellow #'24' is painted on one grip. Serial number on frog stud and cross guard do match.
