4 Guzik Circuit Boards for S1701-CF Disk Drive Tester, with S-100 Size Card Cage.
2 Stepper motor driver circuit boards
In a separate aluminum card cage, electrically isolated from each other
1 Piezo DSP Controller / Driver circuit board
Has a nice APEX utech High Voltage driver IC
Possibly S-100 type interface
1 "Coldfire" DSP uP circuit board.
Main processor for the disk drive tester
Possibly S-100 type interface
1 5 Slot card cage
Has 100 contact edge connectors for 4 PCB's, 5th position has no edge connector.
Power comes in a 4 position terminal block on the motherboard
Aluminum and steel construction
Connectors look like S-100 in size and pin count / pin placement but I don't know if they're fully S-100 compatible. (I did plug an S100 board in and it does physically fit). Be extremely cautious if you're putting one of these in your MITS, ALTAIR, or PROCESSOR TECHNOLGY computer. At the very least the power inputs are different. These boards require regulated power. On most S100 boards the power regulation is done on-board.
THE TOP PCB IN THE CARD CAGE (SEEN IN THE LAST PHOTO) IS NOT INCLUDED
. It is the spindle driver board for this system and is being sold in another auction.
These boards are USED and were removed from functioning equipment but they may not work for your purposes. There is NOTHING AVAILABLE in the form of drawings, data sheets, instruction manuals, wiring/cabling, device drivers, software, or other support for these circuit boards that I am aware of. That's why the price is so low. Buy if you need spares boards or will strip for parts. THE TOP PCB IN THE RACK (LAST PHOTO) IS NOT INCLUDED. It's the spindle driver and is being sold, along with the spindle, in another auction.
