This Guyana 20 Dollar banknote from 1989 has a dimension of 156 x 65 mm. Its obverse side features the bank logo and the Kaieteur Falls in Kaieteur National Park in central Guyana. The falls drops into the Potaro River and was named after Chief Kai, one of the distinguished chieftains of the Patamona tribe. The reverse side features the ferry vessel MV Malali, which crosses the Essequibo River between Parika and Adventure, and a shipbuilding factory. The note is equipped with a solid security thread to enhance its security features.
