German Prussian Infantry Sword M89 Issued Dated 98 PDLuneschloss Wall Hanger

Description

Having been displayed upon a wall, this German Prussian Infantry Sword Model 89 has
3 Hanging Holes in the Center of its Blade
in order to be used as a "Wall Hanger". In addition, the double fullered blade is Issue Dated 98 on the spine and continues to wear the maker's marking "P.D. LUNESCHLOSS, SOLINGEN" on one side of the ricasso. The fixed guard is adorned with the Prussian Eagle and has survived in nice, tight condition however the leather finger loop is now missing. The lovely fishskin grip remains very healthy in its condition with only light wear and with its twisted wire wrap still securely in place. Overall the Sword measures 40 1/4 inches in length.
