The Brazil 200 Cruzado Novo is part of the family of notes issued in 1990 with a pick number P-229a. This banknote is TAP authenticated and is in uncirculated condition. On the right side of the banknotes obverse is an effigy of Republica. At the left front is Marshal Manuel Deodoro de Fonseca with Silva Jardim, Benjamin Constant, and Quintino Bocaiuva. The reverse depicts a detail of a 1918 painting by Pedro Paulo Bruno Patria or Fatherland which represents the sewing of the national flag by seated women and children. The 140 x 65 mm paper bill has a solid security thread and a watermark that shows the head of Republica.
