Description:
A lot of two crisp uncirculated banknotes from Uruguay. The lot consists of two 100 pesos notes that are red in color on both the front and back. The notes display the image of Jose Artigas in the center of the front. It also displays the image of a meeting presumably an Independence meeting with a man (Artigas?) standing and presiding over the meeting. Both notes are known to have been issued in 1967 but have no date on them. They have serial numbers in sequence. The notes have the serial numbers 41750695 and 41750696 and both are series A. They both have three signatures on the front and have security thread right of center. The notes do not have watermarks that we could find. Both notes retain all of their original crispiness, are without blemishes, and having intact and fully squared corners. Two great looking and crisp notes with all of their original beauty. I would grade the banknotes as crisp uncirculated with all the details being very well preserved. The notes retains all of their original crispiness. They have no graffiti, no pinholes, no tears, and no splits. The corners are intact, fully squared with no damage. The notes are clean without soiling or stains. The edges do not have any roughness or tears and do not show any signs of circulation. Two beautiful banknotes that would fit nicely in your collection of Uruguay banknotes.
